Promote to S3 Michelin Chef before others do!

Stuck on the chef promotion for S3 Michelin Chef? Don’t want to muddle your way through the quest and waste your vitality? Then you are at the right place! Steve has compiled Steve’s experience, when Steve has promoted to S3 Michelin Chef, into this guide.

Although Steve found this chef promotion’s difficulty to be relatively less difficult compare to the other ranks, Steve still cooked up this guide just in case some will find it difficult. As a New Cooking Star, when you have hit the requirements to promote (by filling the bars up to 15k), the chef career promotion quest should pop up in your quest log (if it doesn’t, simply open your chef career page, go to the home tab, and click the promotion button). Tapping on the quest will auto-path you to Koshi Uesugi (your chef promotion guy) where you will meet the guest, a depressed mother.

Simply talk to the NPCs and go through all the dialogue until Koshi Uesugi asks you what drink to make for the lady. Steve is unsure if the different choices matter, but Steve passed perfectly fine choosing Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice as an answer (Steve is also unsure if this will be randomized depending on what the lady says at the beginning).

After answering this question and going through the dialogues once more, pay attention to what the lady says. She should be requesting a specific food with a hint. Steve is unsure if this will be randomized, but Steve got the hint that the lady wants something with lots of seafood. Note that although this hint was clear, the options provided still made the choice hard (all the options had seafood as ingredients). The correct food choice for this was Seafood Pizza (Steve is unsure if the other options work as well).

Then, you will be request to cook the food you chose for the lady. Simply head to the kitchen and cook whatever you chose (seafood pizza in Steve’s case). Bring the food back to the lady and give it to her to move on with the quest (assuming you cooked the right food item).

The lady will then tell you about her son. Auto-path to go and find her son in Chizuru. You will first auto-path to the beach where some monologue will occur. Then, auto-path to the basketball courts afterwards to find the depressed boy (with a quest mark). Talk to the boy and some choices should pop up. Steve is unsure if there is a wrong answer to this part, but it seems that it will only affect your personality. Steve simply chose to treat the boy to a meal which gave healing points, and it worked for moving on to the next part of the quest (this option requires the purchase of a food item for some gold coins).

Afterwards, auto-path back to the mother at Koshi Uesugi’s stall and go through the dialogue. Then talk to Koshi Uesugi who shall give you dialogue choices that will affect your personality points. Go through the dialogue to complete the quest.

Completing your promotion will reward you the moments frame Sweet in Heart, the title S3 Michelin Chef, and new recipes to cook. You will also be able to cook Advanced Bento.
