Dragon Raja Rainy Night Guide

Steve’s Dragon Raja Rainy Night Guide

It’s raining, it’s pouring, time for saving the boy for anecdote scoring!

— Steve

Looking for a hidden tale guide? Not a small one, but one of the six new unknown ones on the tales page in-game (12 total now)? Well, you are at the right place! Steve chanced upon an gold medal hidden anecdote called Rainy Night (aka Raining Night in Tokyo)!

Although Steve is unsure if you must have a certain amount of points in certain personalities to trigger this quest, Steve has most of Steve’s point in healing. Steve is unsure if any phone booth will work or if a specific one is required, but Steve only triggered it when Steve used one certain phone booth at a certain spot (the other phone at that spot didn’t work). Also do note that most of this quest must be done on at a rainy night (as only then will NPC spawn, time can be past midnight but before noon for some parts of the quest) so you might have to take multiple nights to do it.

To trigger this quest, simply go to Tokyo on a rainy night (drizzle or heavy rain, not sure if thunderstorm will work) and interact with the phone towards the south of the mini-map and near the Moon Realm label on the mini-map. An Eva should pop up, telling you to report to her. Simply continue to report to her (never choose to stop reporting). After going through entire dialogue, the conversation will end, and you will have to wait until the next rainy night in Tokyo for the quest to refresh (might have to wait for reset).

On the next rainy night, an NPC named Sasa Sakurai will appear near the phone booth near the Moon Realm label on the mini-map, near the coordinates 415,560. Talk to her and go through her dialogues. Continue to talk to her to reveal dialogue choices. Simply choose the dialogue choices (except return) and go through the dialogues until there are no more dialogue. Note that new dialogue choices will appear when first set is completely gone.

Towards the end of the dialogue, Sasa should ask you to get some painkillers. Simply head over to the Tokyo Specialty merchant near the coordinates 500,455. Purchase some Pain Killer (sundries/idol tab) from her. Now bring the Pain Killer back to Sasa and give it to her. Note that you can do these dialogues out of order so you might still need to clear dialogues if there are choices left after bringing pain killers.

Afterwards, talk to Sasa once more and she will be able to walk again. Choose to help her till the end (good to end option). Then, she will walk off, so follow her. She will lead you to her house near the coordinates 340,590. Interact with the door to enter the house.

You will now be teleported to a secret room look-alike. It will be dark in here, so turn on your vision (you will need it soon anyways). Defeat the waves of enemies that spawn. Afterwards, Sasa will escape. Now you must investigate the room. Go towards the pile of scattered papers on the ground by the television and interact with it (interact again to read note if you want). There will also be a devil clan mark behind the screen on the wall next to the door you came in from. Interact with that as well. You can also interact with a briefcase on the ground near the pile in the corner. Interact with all three just in case they are needed for the NPC to show up in the next part of the quest.

Now if you check Eva, she will give you a long hint. To check Sasa’s workplace, head over to the bar in the alley (usually where two NPC stand Director Tamura and Waiter Eita stand). On a rainy night, the bar waitress should spawn near the coordinates 465,400. Talk to her and inquire about Sasa Sakurai.

Then, head over to the left and head out to the main street to the left. You will most likely see a small group of NPCs by a bus stop talking about ghost fire (not what you are looking for). If you walk around the corner by the NPC and turn on your vision (near the coordinates 530,490), you will see a Cassell College mark that you can interact with.

The faded circle is below the ingredient shop on the left.

Afterwards, Eva will tell you to find trails nearby. You will notice a door nearby that will grant you access to the roof. Enter the door and head to the roof.

On the roof, you should find Eguchi Ryota in between the gap to the left, near the wall. If he does not appear, make sure you are there at the right time (a rainy weather worked for Steve even in the day before noon) and maybe you will have to wait for reset (in-game server daily reset).

After talking to Eguchi, death servitors (enemies) should spawn in waves and you will need to defeat them. The story’s dialogue will continue as you defeat the enemies as the true love story unfolds between the human and the devil (SPOILER: Well, just like most of the other love stories in Dragon Raja, this one shall not have a happy ending).

Towards the end of the fight, you will find Sasa, who drank an evolution potion, becoming a death servitor trying to save Eguchi. Talk to Sasa who has a question mark over her head.

After the dialogue, she will then become the enemy boss and you will have to defeat her. It should be a fairly simple fight, but she will become invulnerable for a bit while you get an option to use blood rage not long afterwards, but its unnecessary if you’re strong enough.

Afterwards, talk to Eguchi and go through the dialogue (that will affect personality). Then, Eguchi will make you wait for a moment before you can talk to him again. Eguchi will then give you a Servant ENH Sample item which you have to bring back to Eva in the Principal’s Office to complete the mission. There may be a bug where you already get completion once you get the item.

This tale was fairly easy except the fact that you have to wait for rainy nights over days. It will be listed as a gold medal, and Steve can assure you it’s part of the 6 hidden tales (second page of 12 hidden tales). The final rewards include anecdote points along with the title Rain Serenade.

That is all for Steve’s Dragon Raja Rainy Night hidden anecdote guide! As always, if Steve find any ways to enhance the guide, Steve will update it! Also, subscribe and look out for more guides from Steve! If you have any questions, suggestions, or disagreements, feel free to comment below or you can contact Steve through the contacts page; however, there is no guarantee for a good answer because Steve does not know everything about the quest after all. Now, go out there and be the couple’s umbrella!
