Help this father towards his sad ending before others do!— Steve
Looking for a hidden tale guide? Not a small one, but one of the six unknown ones on the tales page in-game? Well, you are at the right place! Steve chanced upon a hidden anecdote called Supernatural!
Although Steve is unsure if you must have a certain amount of points in certain personalities to trigger this quest nor if there is a level requirement for this quest. Steve was level 59 and had completed the corresponding main story quest which introduced Steve to Takamagahara when Steve did the quest, but Steve does not know if that is necessary. You can trigger the quest by talking to the sneaky man NPC located in the corner near the entrance of Takamagahara. He is on the opposite side of where the claw machine is located.
After a dialogue where you would select some choices (Steve believes the first two would work), then you would trigger the tale and be able to talk with Eva. Eva will tell you that there is a high chance that the NPC would show up in Chizuru and a low chance that he would end up in Tokyo. Steve ended up lucky and got the Chizuru side, so this guide is only for Chizuru peeps. Although there are many overlapping parts, if you are having difficulty finding the NPC in Tokyo, Steve can only apologize to you. Eva did say he was just outside though so you could take the elevator down and search around the building (if he went to Tokyo). Note that at this point you can probably buy two Takamagahara Special Drink from the Waiter in Takamagahara (if you don’t want to come back later, Steve hasn’t tried it when Steve did the quest though).
After going to Chizuru, just head off to the right side of the town towards the red shrine arch. Midway on your way to the arch, you will find the NPC, now named Kuroko Matsuo, in the corner by the bus stop. This location is near the coordinate 154,198. Talk to Kuroko and there will be a dialogue between Kuroko and his son. Oh poor boy, Steve doesn’t want to spoil it, but Steve already did. After the dialogue, talk to Kuroko again and Kuroko will tell you to investigate and find clues in Chizuru.
Now, you will need to talk to the Rampager in Chizuru. The Rampager can be found where you would find the Tramp for the Warm Menus Hidden Anecdote, basically by the basketball court area or near the coordinate 236,172. In order to talk to him (for info) you will need a special drink called Takamagahara Special Drink.
It’s clear where you have to go to get this. Head back to Takamagahara and go talk to the waiter. There should be a dialogue regarding coffee. Steve is unsure if there is a level restriction of 59, a main story completion rate requirement, or if there is a certain time you must talk to the waiter in order for the coffee dialogue to show up. However Steve does know it’s fine if you get the answers wrong as you can try again until you get it right. After that dialogue, you will be able to buy the drink whenever you want for 100 gold. The drink will restore 999 reserve HP points if used, and you can buy another one anytime so no worries if you accidentally drink it. Just make sure you have bought two because you need two to get the Rampager to talk (there was an extra intimidation option but it is locked for Steve). After giving both drinks to the Rampager, the Rampager will tell you about zombies or vampires or whatever, but it’s basically the supernatural monsters you fight on your daily quests, those dragonic mobs, the death servitors.
Now head over to Kuroko once more and he will basically tell you that you are not done. Now go and chat with Mrs. Nagai, who could be found by the basketball courts on the apartments side near the coordinates 203,212. She will tell you about how someone tossed some glass into the trash. Of course this will not be what you are looking for. Instead, you will be looking for the glass bottle that is used to hold the dragon potion, like the ones showed in the main story line if you had seen any (not injection).
Although Steve tried searching the trash cans, it didn’t work. Apparently, you have to search the boxes hidden in an ally behind the convenience store where the ingredient merchant is. This is around the coordinates 166,225. You must search those boxes until you find two Box of Junk items. Open both until you get an Empty Vial (which you should get with two boxes). Bring the Empty Vial over to Kuroko who will tell you to get it analyzed.
Now you must go to Sumeru Throne and talk to Haruki Yoshino. He is located by the computer off to the right side where you spawn in Sumeru Throne or near the coordinates 115,122. Ask him to test the bottle.
After the dialogue, go back to Kuroko. After talking to him, go towards the basketball courts and head all the way to the end of the street near the coordinates 232,211. At the house at the end, activate your vision and you will see a graffiti or mark on the door/gate which you can interact with. Interact with it and Kuroko should appear asking you if you are ready to go (to the boss fight). You can immediately enter or go and prepare (then talk to Kuroko at the end of the street again).
Once you enter the story area for the boss fight, talk to Kuroko and a dialogue will occur where you can select a choice that gives you personality rating. Steve is not sure what each one gives but Steve usually ends up picking the healing one. Steve is definitely not the healing type, but an assassin! Anyways, beat the boss son up and you are good. It should be an easy fight if you high level or have high rating. Steve killed it within 30 seconds at level 59 on auto combat so you shouldn’t complain about the difficulty. Talk to Kuroko after the fight to complete the quest. Poor bloke lost his son under your hands and now he will have to give you a title and anecdote points for it.
This tale was fairly easy unless you are so weak that the boss was difficult for you. Well, at least you got one of the gold medals for one of the 6 hidden tales by doing it. The final rewards include anecdote points in addition to the Mystery Explorer title which gives a HP+1600.
That is all for Steve’s Dragon Raja Supernatural hidden anecdote guide! As always, if Steve find any ways to enhance the guide, Steve will update it! Also, subscribe and look out for more guides from Steve! If you have any questions, suggestions, or disagreements, feel free to comment below or you can contact Steve through the contacts page; however, there is no guarantee for a good answer because Steve does not know everything about the quest after all. Now, go out there and see the doom of the poor father’s boy! Oh, wait, don’t you shouldn’t be happy about this. Go out and … sob about it!
