Chapter 12: Sacrifice To Protect

My team and I waited in silence as the time slowly reached the moment when it came. For some reason, Fu’er was the one that called me this time instead of Wu Die. He spoke in a wary tone as if he was trying to ask me something, but he just kept beating around the bush, but based on his questions like “how is your vacation”, “are you still at home right now”, and “mom, you should go home”, I had the inkling that Fu’er knew that I was camping outside this forest.

Chapter 11: Building a Team

I woke up once again in my room, but this time in cold sweat. I clearly remember the frightening feeling of being crushed by a grip. Although I could not see what it was, I knew I could not beat it alone, even if I were to train for a couple of lives. Although others may have a hard time believing in the supernatural, I had no qualms about believing it for just my rebirth alone tells me that the supernatural exists. I also now know that my son is probably involved with the supernatural.

Chapter 10: Found it?

Once again I awaken in my room. Then, I became the housekeeper of young master Ye once more. As I am privy to the knowledge that young master Ye will one day disappear, my heart could not help but clench when I see him as the thought of him dying still pains me. Now, when I see “Xiang He Ai”, I could not help but secretly curse in my mind at how shameless she was to devour all of young master Ye’s assets. There must be something queer going on here because a man doesn’t just disappear right after marriage, and I have an inkling it had something to do with how she stole my identity, but I had no clue for now.

Chapter 9: Where is he?

Different from the last life, the phone call came. Wu Die happily conversed with me as she told me how Fu’er is at work for the whole day, so he can’t come to chat for today. I was happy to know that Fu’er didn’t call me at this time because he was at work, but that doesn’t fit for a reason for not calling me afterwards is it? What type of job does Fu’er work at anyways? Is it life-risking?

Chapter 7: Severance

Just like that, a month passed by. Whenever I bump into young master Ye in the past month, I would hide away in fear, just like the monster in my heart. Although I do not fear the man himself, but I fear the pain of seeing the man. My appetite deteriorated at the thought of the heartless man while my heart felt cold, considering even suicide, but the thought that I carried a life within me caused indecision to surface in my heart.

Chapter 6: Rebirth

There was chattering in the background, awakening me from my slumber. Are those my neighbors trying to disturb my final rest? I opened my eyes, and what I saw was very white, but familiar scene. I recognized at once that it was not my old apartment. I looked around, noticing doctors and nurses in the hallway and I looked at my familiar surroundings. Then, I realized that this was the hospital that I woke up in after saving young master Ye years ago, but how am I here?

I was at first shocked and confused when I realized that I had his child, but not long after a sweet, bubbly feeling filled my heart as the dying monster in my heart was rejuvenated by a miracle pill. Tonight, young master Ye’s company will be hosting a banquet to celebrate its 5th anniversary of collaboration with the company of “Xiang He Ai”. The banquet will be held at a prestigious luxury hotel owned by “Xiang He Ai” and many important guests would be invited. The most important part of this event was the fact that I was invited by young master Ye to the event.
